We are building the roadbed and engineering structures on the km 19+040 – km 23+320 section of the new Khudafarin–Gubadly–Lachin highway — the road that branches off at km 33 and runs to the Lachin corridor.

The roadbed construction includes the following works:

  • Stepped, benched excavation of the mountainsides down to design grade on the cleared areas handed over to us, with V-shaped drainage ditches excavated and concreted on the benches;
  • Filling works in valleys and depressions up to design grade;
  • Blasting and excavation of hard-rock sections, with the slopes finished to design grade using hydraulic breakers;
  • All types of reinforced-concrete works on the site, carried out with our own resources.

To date we have built and installed 2 culvert pipes, each 45 m long and 1,500 mm in diameter, completed their backfill and opened them to traffic. Under the design, culvert pipes will be built at 2 more locations (1,500 mm diameter) and 6 locations (1,000 mm diameter). We have also completed a 59 m long twin box culvert measuring 2 m by 2 m, and one more 22 m long box culvert is to be built.

Between January 2024 and March 2025 we completed 3,000,000 m³ of excavation and 58,000 m³ of fill — works are currently ongoing.
